Interested to learn about ethics and legislation related to AI-enhanced Learning Analytics? Join our summer course to get a comprehensive overview of this growing field! During the course we will analyze legal and ethical issues surrounding AI and Learning Analytics in educational contexts.
The course provides important skills and knowledge to research, develop, use, and critically evaluate these data intensive educational technologies. Together we will explore AI ethics, privacy, and data protection legislation as well as ways to prepare, design, and implement an ethically sound and legally compliant AI-enhanced LA project.

Familiarizing with a critical approach literature to AI and learning analytics. Introduction to students' agency and AI literacy. Individual and group work on assignment. Critical evaluation of selected AI tools in educational context.
