How to start your studies at the Open University?

Enrolling for Open University studies and studying takes place in stages.

The stages are:

  1. Enroll for studies.
  2. Activate your University user account and set a password.
  3. Log in to the learning environment.
  4. Complete your studies. Guidance is available if needed.
  5. Order a transcript if needed.

Before the studies

During the studies

During your studies you might need several systems and instructions.

The most important systems are:

  • Peppi: student and study information system, for registration of studies
  • O365 education services: including Outlook-email, OneDrive -cloud storage and office tools
  • Zoom: online meeting tool

During your studies you also have access to University Library Services.

After the studies

After completing your studies you will get your assessment within reasonable time (in 3 weeks). The assessment process of MOOC courses is different.
