By the end of the course the student will have been able to:

-demonstrate the ability to use an appropriate level of formality and style for business communication both verbally and in writing with reasonable accuracy and self-correct mistakes if they have led to misunderstandings

-demonstrate the ability to write clear and effective business documents including modern-day visual appeal and email messages conveying information and details accurately

-hold online meetings, negotiations and presentations

-experience and apply communication and interaction skills in the tasks of the course

-experience and apply entrepreneurial mindset and skills to the tasks of the course.

Mode of delivery: The course is held in Moodle and Zoom and the final exam is in the Exam Center.

The course consists of eight projects and each project is estimated to take about 13 hours of time. Attendance is mandatory at least 80% of the time.

All assignments and quizzes must be completed and are graded pass or fail. The final written exam will be completed in the Exam Center and will be graded from 1-5 or Fail. A presentation and verbal exam will be held and they will be graded with a grade of 1-5 or Fail. Attendance is mandatory at least 80% of the time.

The grading scale is 1-5 or Fail. All assignments and quizzes must be completed and are graded pass or fail. The final written exam will be completed in the Exam Center and will be graded from 1-5 or Fail and makes up 50% of the course grade. A presentation and verbal exam will be held and they will be graded with a grade of 1-5 or Fail and they make up 50% of the course grade.
