Enrollment for the Open University autumn 2025 studies is now open!

Welcome to study at the Open University! Open university studies are suitable for everyone regardless of age or prior education. At the Open University you can supplement your working life skills, familiarize yourself with interesting studies in the fields of University of Oulu or study for your own joy.

Take a look at the Open University studies of the academic year 2025-2026 on our website. You can search for studies by using Education search or by scrolling JOY course offering where you can find courses offered in English. Enrollment is possible now for the single courses organized in autumn term or study modules organized in academic year 2025-2026. Enrollment for the studies organized in spring term will be opened later.

During the summertime you can browse our studies while sitting on a dock or swinging in a hammock. When you find studies that interests you, enroll and enjoy the summer! You will receive information about your studies at the end of the summer before your studies begin. Meanwhile, you can concentrate in spending a relaxing summer!
