Continuous learning (JOY) enrolment instructions

As a rule, registration for studies in continuous learning is completed electronically through the JOY web service. Enrolment in studies is completed through the enrolment links found in the training descriptions.

Some continuous learning studies offered by the University are subject to a fee. Fees are specific to the training or educational module and are primarily determined by the scope of the studies.

Course costs are indicated in the training descriptions on the JOY web service. Payment is made at the time of registration as an online payment in the JOY web service, or course fees can also be invoiced to the participant, company, or organisation.

Please note that some courses may have a limited number of study places for participants, or students may be selected through an application process. During the application process participants may be required to submit certificates or other background information.

Registration can be cancelled no later than 7 days before the beginning of a course. Cancellation must be done by contacting the training contact person for that course. If the cancellation takes place less than 7 days before the beginning of the course, or no cancellation notification is received, a fee of EUR 250 will be charged.

If a student interrupts the completion of a paid study programme, he or she must pay 50% of the remaining training fee. Exceptional circumstances include legal obstacles, such as a serious illness confirmed by a doctor. If a student neglects to pay the fee by the due date and does not complete this payment within one (1) month after the university has sent them a fee reminder, the university may terminate the training agreement immediately after the notification has been sent. Training fees that have already been paid will not be refunded or cancelled.
