Education information
The course is a lower intermediate course. During the course, students strengthen their communication skills in ordinary everyday situations and acquire a wider vocabulary and more thorough knowledge of grammar. In addition, students practise understanding and producing Finnish talk and reading newspaper articles.
The topics and communicative situations covered in the course are the following: asking for help, describing people and things, writing an email, talking about one’s life story and education and work history, filling in an application, describing the environment, expressing opinions, participating in a conversation, reading news and statistics and telling stories.
The structures studied are the following: the imperfect and object forms, more word and sentence types and the perfect form.
