Supporting Sexual Growth and Development (OPEN UNI)

Prerequisites and co-requisites Before enrolling in the Intermediate Studies courses, at least 20 credits of Basic Health Education studies must be completed.

Recommended optional programme components The course is an independent entity and does not require additional studies carried out at the same time.

Upon completion of the course the student knows how to

• explain the special features of sexual growth and development at different ages
• support sexual behaviour that promotes health at different ages

Self-paced. The course does not include scheduled teaching sessions, but there are deadlines for the assignments to be completed during the course.

The materials and possible book recommendations will be shared on the course platform in Moodle.

The course is completed through independent online study, which includes learning assignments, instructional videos, and participation in group discussions.
