Spoken Chinese for Beginners I (OPEN UNI), The Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia

Required proficiency level No preliminary knowledge in Chinese is required.

By the end of the course students will demonstrate:

-the ability to pronounce basic Chinese (pinyin)

-the ability to use some of the most commonly used words and sentences of the Chinese language

-the ability to use daily expressions used in spoken Chinese

Mode of delivery Course sessions 1 x 90 min/week or 2 x 90 min/week, 24 hours. Consistent preparation for course sessions and independent work, 30 hours. A total of 54 hours of student work.
