Recommended optional programme components The course is an independent entity and does not requireadditional studies carried out at the same time.

Upon completion of the course the student:

• has become familiar with the key concepts and theories of developmental psychology
• knows how to view the psychological development of children and young people from various perspectives
• is able to recognize and name the challenges that appear in the psychosocial development of children and adolescents
• is able to describe the significance of various social environments and sleep for the psychological development and well-being of children and adolescents

Self-pased The course does not include scheduled teaching, but the assignments have designated deadlines that must be met during the course.

The materials and possible book recommendations will be shared on the course platform in Moodle.

The course is completed through independent learning assignments, instructional videos, participation in group discussions, and online coursework

The course utilizes verbal grading scale Pass/Incomplete.

Timing The course is held in the autumn semester.
