The European University UNIC offers a course on Finnish culture, the Finnish language, and the city of Oulu. In this self-study course, participants learn some basics about the Finnish language, culture, the city of Oulu, and the University of Oulu.

To whom? The course is particularly suitable for those who intend to come to Oulu for the next academic year, for example, but the course is open to anyone interested in the subject, for example, persons with immigrant backgrounds and their family members.

Costs? The course is free of charge and no student credits are obtained for completing it.

Benefits? The aim of the course is to make the arrival in Oulu smoother and to provide more information about the city and the university. The course can also benefit participants in future Finnish language studies.

The course can be founded at DigiCampus and is constantly open.

• You can find the course using the keyword: Unic Finnish course
• You can look at the course by choosing “log in as a quest”.
• Some exercises require, that you are a registered user, and you can register by choosing “create a new account”. You can give any email address when creating the user account.
• You will then receive a link in your email to access the course.
