Prerequisites and co-requisites Introduction to Literary Studies 1, Fiction Practicum 1 and 2, and Literary History 1.

The course introduces students to the basics of Western literary history from the Romantic Age to the 21st century. Upon completing the course, students will be able to describe the development of major genres and styles of literature from Romanticism to the modern day.
