Knowledge, Values and Humanity (OPEN UNI)

After completing the course, students will be able to examine values philosophically in relation to the values’ cultural and natural contexts. Students will be able to describe connections between philosophy of values and science, ethics and aesthetics. Students will be able to display knowledge of the fundamental questions in the philosophy of science, as well as knowledge of the special nature of the questions in the philosophy of social sciences. In addition, students will be able to analyse the metaphysical and epistemological limitations of science as well as its relation with values.
