Introduction to Research Methods (OPEN UNI)

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to read, analyse, and assess historical research by utilising the basic approaches and principles of the field; based on that, students will be able to formulate a summarised oral presentation and take part in discourse in the field of science of history. Students will be able to outline how the research of history is conducted in practice. Students will also be familiar with the research process and the practices of the field. Students will develop their independent and group work skills, practice scientific writing and critical reading of scientific texts.
