Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• use their time and stress management skills
• recognize multiple roles and duties in medical profession and understand what collegiality means in studies and in professional life
• know ethical principles in medical profession
• understand how the service system works in health care
• understand the importance of communicational skills in studies and in professional life
• operate in situations when first aid is needed

Other information Introduction to Medicine is based on a course from curriculum for the degree programme in medicine. This course can be included in the medical studies at University of Oulu, but this must be considered with the responsible teachers of the courses.
