Introduction to Digital Humanities (OPEN UNI)

On completion of the course, the student will:

• be familiar with research issues, methods, and perspectives in digital humanities
• become familiar with the key concepts and key data sets in digital humanities
• become familiar with the digital tools used in humanities research and the theoretical and ethical underpinnings of research (e.g. in relation to open science and data)
• gain an understanding of the types of human sciences research that can be produced using computer-assisted methods

Online learning and a related exercise.

Exercise, assignments and a learning diary, for which students will read the literature distributed during the course.

Assignments and the exercise have a positive or negative impact on the grade. In addition, students will complete a learning diary throughout the course, which will be assessed on a scale of 1-5/Rejected.
