Intermediate Course in Spanish 2 (OPEN UNI), The Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia

Elementary Courses in Spanish 1 and 2, and Intermediate Course in Spanish or equivalent skills.

The aim of the course is to develop and improve oral and written skills, to develop listening comprehension and to expand vocabulary. After completing the course, the students can communicate in everyday situations, for example express opinions. They understand general texts on familiar topics. The students can produce coherent text on familiar topics. The students recognize the cultural differences and similarities between Finnish and Spanish-speaking countries.

Contact teaching 2 x 90 min./week, 52 hours. Homework and independent work 83 hours. Overall workload about 135 hours.

Regular and active participation in contact teaching, completion of given assignments and exams.
