Intensive Course in Spanish Language and Culture (OPEN UNI), The Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia

Elementary Courses in Spanish 1 and 2, and Intermediate Course 1 in Spanish or equivalent skills.

The students • will be able to manage in situations they might face during exchange studies in a Spanish-speaking university. • are familiar with differences and similarities between Finnish and Spanish universities • can talk about themselves, hobbies, and studies in Spanish. • can tell about Finland and its history, current events, school system and culture. • will be able to recognize some differences and similarities between Finnish and Spanish-speaking cultures.

Contact teaching 1 x 90 min./week, 26 hours. Homework and independent work 28 hours. Overall workload about 54 hours.
