Culture and Society of the German Speaking Countries (OPEN UNI)

The course is open to everybody who is interested in German language and culture and who has already reached level A2 in German.

Upon completion of the course, students know the main traits of the history and current developments in society, the German language and culture of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Students develop an understanding of culture-specific influences on communication, especially business communication.

Mode of delivery: The course is offered as a self-study online-course in Moodle and can be started at any time. Self-study online 54 h. Students complete online assignments, tasks, and the exam in the Moodle learning environment.
