Education description

This course introduces the student to the basics of human information processing. The course covers the key theories and concepts of cognitive psychology and the basic cognitive processes. The student will also learn about the structure and functions of the nervous and sensory systems, and the consequences of brain damage. The course also introduces the student to the most common research methods used in the study of cognitive and neurological processes. The following topics are covered: Basic cognitive processes, such as perception, attention, and memory The structure and development of the nervous system The functions of the nervous and sensory systems Cognitive and neuropsychological research and research methods
