Basic Course in Special Education, Implementation of January (OPEN UNI)

Prerequisites and co-requisites Completion of the basic course in special pedagogy is a prerequisite for the courses Ay402110P Special education in the course of life, Ay402107P Supporting language and communication development, Ay402108P Learning difficulties and uniquess of learning, AY402119P Socio-emotional development

After completing the course, the student is able to * describe past trends of special education * describe and analyze key special pedagogical values * describe different models of disability * recognize the tiers of pedagogical suppoer and related legislation and pedagogical documents * look at special pedagogical activities in practice

Independent studying on Moodle environment, around 132 h. Study consists of lecture recordings, learning assignments and familiarization with literature. The course includes two study visits (possibility to do in your home town). The course includes a lecture and literature exam, 3 h.

Studying online material and completing assignments as instructed. Conduct study visits as instructed. Exam based on literature and lectures in Moodle environment.
